Business rates revaulation released
The new rateable values for business have been released by the government. These rateable values will be used next year to calculate the rates payable for each business. In general the rateable values for retail have declined, by 10% on average. This will vary from region to region, but we are hopeful that most independent retailers will pay less rates next year.
