Alongside their other 2023 new product launches with the School of Wok, Dexam have introduced a wok set in time for the Christmas gifting period and Chinese New Year. Included in the set is a 12” Carbon Steel Pre-Seasoned Wok, two pairs of chopsticks, a bamboo spatula and 10 easy-to-make recipes created by celebrity chef, Jeremy Pang.
The 12” Carbon Steel Pre-Seasoned Wok unlocks delicious flavours that Asian stir-fry is famous for. It can be used on all hobs, including induction, and the spun carbon steel allows for very high heat - giving dishes a caramelised flavour. The pre-seasoned wok will give budding chefs the benefits of uncoated carbon steel as it has already been seasoned and is also of non-stick without a coating that can scratch and wear out. Edible sunflower oil is used to prepare the pre-seasoned wok.
The spatula is made from environmentally friendly, heat-resistant bamboo, with a handy hanging hoop for easy storage. The two pairs of chopsticks are also made from environmentally friendly, heat-resistant bamboo and each features grooves in the tips for extra grip. The ideal utensils for dinner parties and they are also finished with colourful tips.

A small booklet completes the set with 10 authentic Chinese recipes by Jeremy Pang. Each is broken down into simple techniques and recipes including Singapore Noodles, Salt & Pepper Chilli Squid and Sichuan-Style Aubergine.
