This collaboration will offer Bira members a range of benefits while allowing retailers to save money on banking fees over two-and-a-half years and help them streamline their banking services.
The benefits of the partnership will include:

●    Access to TSB branches across the UK – TSB remains committed to a UK-wide branch network with 211 branches, and the 7th largest branch network in the UK. More than 90% of TSB customers are able to travel to a TSB branch in 20 minutes or less.
●    Services offered at Post Office – with access to over 11,500 locations in the UK, businesses are able to do a lot of their banking at the Post Office, completely free of charge.
●    A free period on a business bank account - there are no monthly fees or charges for paying money in or out for 30 months, giving businesses one less cost to factor in.
●    The Fraud Refund Guarantee – launched in April 2019, it is a first in UK banking and it goes further to cover TSB customers against fraud than anything that has come before it. At other banks, on average, only 59% of stolen money is refunded to fraud victims*. Under our fraud refund guarantee, we refund 97% of claims.

Andrew Goodacre, CEO of Bira said: “We are thrilled to be partnering with TSB Bank. TSB is a well-respected bank with a long history of supporting small businesses. This partnership will give our members access to the banking services they need to grow their businesses and succeed."

Adeel Hyder, Business Banking Director at TSB said: “We are delighted to partner with Bira to support the UK’s independent retailers. We know that independent retailers are the backbone of the UK economy, and we are committed to providing them with the banking services they need to succeed. This partnership will give Bira members access to our wide range of products and services, as well as our expertise and support.”
