Wales to reopen indoor hospitality from Monday

Indoor hospitality is set to reopen in Wales on Monday, May 17, it has been announced.

The Welsh Government has made the decision to follow the same road map to recovery as England, with pubs, restaurants and cafes allowed to serve customers indoors from Monday.

As in England, the same 'rule of six' will apply.

Earlier this week, Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon confirmed indoor hopsitality would return in Scotland on the same day.

Bira CEO Andrew Goodacre said: "We see this as a positive step allowing cafes, pubs and restaurants to properly reopen."
