Non essential retail in England will be able to reopen from Monday, April 12, 2021, its has been confirmed.
Prime minister Boris Johnson confirmed the move at the press conference yesterday (Monday, April 5), as he confirmed the roadmap to easing lockdown restrictions.
Non-essential retail and close contact services such as hairdressers, and outdoor hospitality of all kinds including pub beer gardens will open on April 12.

In Scotland non-essential retailers will be closed until April 26, and Northern Ireland are yet to set an offical reopening date.
