Can you be a Rainy Day Trust volunteer?
The Rainy Day Trust is here to help people who work or have worked in the housewares, DIY and garden centre industries. We need a whole range of different volunteers to help us deliver our work. From being a workplace ambassador to carrying out home visits to some of our most vulnerable beneficiaries, we have lots of things that you can do to help out your colleagues. If you’d like to be involved with our work and do something to give a little back, then please get in touch by dropping an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
You might consider:
- Being a Rainy Day Ambassador at work, making your colleagues aware of how we can help them. We’ll give you information packs so that you can talk to them about what we can do.
- Being a Regional Volunteer to help fund-raise from local businesses, or encouraging people at work to do things to raise money for our work. It might be coordinating small events, or making sure that our collection tins are available at work and locally for people to support us.
- Be a Home Visitor, talking to those who receive regular financial help and understanding their needs to make sure we are providing as much help as we can to meet their needs. We’ll train you and give you the tools that you need to carry out this vital role.
- Help us as an Office Volunteer, at our head office with data collection and analysis, prepare packs for mail-outs and if you have a specialist skill like marketing or sales, help us work up ways of spreading the word.
Volunteering for a charity is incredibly rewarding, so why not give it a go. To get in touch, drop us an e-mail at email@example.com
