Where can I find my membership number?+

You can find your membership number printed on any piece of documentation we send you in the post.

I've just joined, how do I set up my password for the website?+

Setting up your new account couldn't be easier. Simply place your business email or membership number within the form field on this page

Why wont my membership number log me into the website?+

It may be that you have received your membership number on documentation that we have previously sent you, where your membership may have started with '00'.
The website only accepts your membership number when '00' is not included, so please leave this off when logging into the website.

How do I reset my password?+

What are the payment options?+

You can choose to pay by cheque, debit or credit card online, BACS or direct debit. If you choose to pay by direct debit, you’ll receive a 5% discount on your membership fee.

How do I edit my account details?+

If you are not already, please login to the bira website.
Once you are logged in, select the 'Account Details' tab on the right-hand side of your account dashboard, input your new details and click 'Save changes'. Once submitted, your changes will be sent to our team for approval and are usually sent live within 48 hours.

I have not received my welcome or renewal pack.+

If you haven't received your welcome or renewal pack after at least 6 weeks of joining bira, please contact the membership team by calling 0121 446 6688 or by email at membership@bira.co.uk

How can I share my news, views and ideas with other members?+

To share your news, views and ideas with like-minded retailers through the bira member magazine please contact us at editorial@bira.co.uk. All contributions will be gratefully received.

You can also attend our range of meetings, exhibitions and events including the bira Conference and Awards to meet other retailers, bira members and inspiration speakers from the industry.

What are the specialist sectors?+

The specialist sectors are specialist trade associations that are owned by bira. There’s no extra cost to join them once you’re a member of bira and they provide representation for you and your business on an industry-specific level.

Can I cancel my membership at anytime?+

The membership subscription runs for the year, if you’d like to cancel after the year, it’s simply a case of letting us know before your next payment is made. However, we always like to find out why before we say goodbye to see if there’s anything we could have done better.

How do I access my member benefits?+

The cost starts from £205+VAT per year and is based on your annual turnover.
