Christian will discuss the basic concepts of marketing and how to achieve simple traction from your efforts. The session will focus particularly on how to gain understanding of your environment, your product/service and your business; through to the go to market approach and promotion for your business.  Gain an appreciation of the changing marketing landscape and what’s new to be considered.

About Christian Textlocal’s Marketing Manager

Christian is marketing manager of Textlocal, one of the UK’s leading SMS marketing and communications platforms, a role he has held for 4 months.  As marketing manager, Christian has responsibility for developing the Corporate and Reseller channel for the business, building on the initial acquisition of some high street brands.  His responsibility also encompasses the support of Textlocal’s partners and affiliates, all Voice of Customer activity, and he manages the external relations for the business.   Prior to this, he held a number of senior marketing roles within GE Capital, the American conglomerate, was instrumental in supporting the growth of both their fleet and commercial finance businesses, roles he held for a total of twelve years.

Christian has extensive marketing experience in New Customer Acquisition, Customer Satisfaction, New Product Development and Communications, having held positions with Iceland Foods, GB Group and GE Capital over a 17year career, following the completion of his studies with a MA in Marketing Management.  Christian operates out of Textlocal’s offices in Chester

The Cyber Aware campaign aims to drive behaviour change amongst small businesses and individuals, so that they adopt simple advice about staying secure online to help protect themselves from cyber criminals.
