Dealers can now register for Help to Grow scheme

Small businesses are invited to register interest for the Government's new Help to Grow scheme.

The initiative was announced during the Budget on March 3, as a further boost for small businesses recovering from the impact of the pandemic.

There are places on two schemes available which offer either:

  • an Executive Development programme that could help you improve business performance and growth potential through Help to Grow: Management
  • free online advice and money off software that could help you save time and cut costs through Help to Grow: Digital

For the management course, there will be 30,000 places available over the next three years, and the Government will pay 90% of the course costs - meaning businesses will pay £750.

Meanwhile, the digital course will offer businesses free, impartial advice, as well as a discount of up to 50% on the costs of approved software, worth up to £5,000. Vouchers are initially expected to be available for software that helps businesses:

  • build customer relationships and increase sales
  • make the most of selling online
  • manage their accounts and finances digitally
