Bira is supporting the British Retail Consortium's (BRC) payment survey

Bira is supporting the British Retail Consortium's (BRC) payment survey.

The Payments Survey provides the vital evidence base underpinning the BRC’s work to achieve a fair and competitive settlement for UK businesses on retail payments. This year the UK’s Payment Systems Regulator will publish its long-term Strategy, and the Government will set out its plans following it’s Payments Landscape Review, both of which have the potential to shift the dial of payments regulation towards the retailer after more than 30 years of anticompetitive card fees and card schemes’ abuse of their dominant market position.

The survey is in spreadsheet form. If you use Global Payments, they can complete some of this form for you.

The spreadsheet contains completion guidelines, a standard entry form (that can be partially completed by Global Payments) and completed when they return it to you. There is also a short Q&A and self-certification page for members who have machines that serve bank notes (e.g. Self Service Checkout).

If you are a Global Payments customer:

Step 1: Complete the short form below to instruct Global to complete their parts of the standard entry form

Step 2: Complete the rest of the survey spreadsheet

Step 3: Send your complete form to and if possible, cc
