Carlisle Brass price increase 1st March 2021

Bira Direct supplier Carlisle Brass announce a 5% price increase effective from 1st March 2021. Carlisle Brass is focussed on bringing the best quality products to market to meet and exceed our trade customers needs.

In a letter to customers Angus Grant Managing Director of Carlisle Brass says:

Notification of 5% price increase effective 1st March 2021

I trust you are all well and looking forward to the Christmas break. We’ve certainly seen a challenging year and I am extremely grateful for your continued business and loyalty through tough times.

As we leave 2020, the long tail of effects on our supply chain caused by the Covid-19 pandemic are still making headline news. In many ways this has been positive, as demand from some of you has never been higher, whilst pressure on couriers, ports and stocks has been felt throughout the wider construction industry.

We are now being significantly impacted by increased costs and regrettably we need to announce a price increase of 5%, effective from March 1st 2021.

We will send out revised price lists in the New Year and of course will honour any trading agreements and quotations with you. Whilst I appreciate this is not good news for any of us, it will likely not be unexpected.

From all of us at Carlisle Brass we wish those of you celebrating, a Merry Christmas and to everyone the best of health and a prosperous New Year.

Yours faithfully
Angus Grant Managing Director
