Mark lockdown anniversary by helping to raise charity cash

Bira is encouraging its members and the wider independent retail sector to mark the anniversary of the first lockdown in England by joining the #March23 movement.

Celebrities including Nick Knowles, Eamonn Holmes and Keith Lemon are backing the campaign which recognises the hardship incured by some people as a result of the pandemic. It also aims to recognise the community spirit and kindness which has been spread throughout the pandemic, all while raising money for Variety, the childrens charity.

Bira members are invited to get involved in a number of ways via social media, all by uploading a photo or video, of themselves and then tagging five friends.

There's also an opportunity to donate to Variety.
