Bira member shortlisted for a small business eco award

A Bira member has been shortlisted for a small business award, acknowledging her efforts to run a sustainable business.

Hellen Stirling-Baker, who runs Small Stuff UK in Sheffield, has been nominated for a Sheffield Star Small Business Award 2021 in the 'Environmental Impact' category.

Since launching Small Stuff UK in Crookes, Hellen has been committed to running a sustainable and environmentally-ethical business.

She told Bira: "I feel so incredibly honoured and grateful to be one of the finalists along with some wonderful forward-thinking businesses.

"After everything the business has pushed through over the last 18 months, I’ve worked so hard to make sustainability and driving this message an absolute priority as it’s runs deep through my whole business and vision for Small Stuff.

"To win this award would be absolutely incredible, but to chance to celebrate (in person!!) on September 29, 2021, with fellow, local, likeminded business is going be amazing!"

We wish Hellen the very best of luck.
