Northern Ireland lockdown extended - but click and collect rules to change

The lockdown in Northern Ireland has been extended until April 1, 2021, it has been announced.

However, from March 8, 2021, some non-essential retailers will be able to offer click and collect services, which had previously been prohibited.

Those services will resume for baby equipment shops, clothing shops, footwear shops and electrical goods shops.

Restrictions were imposed in Northern Ireland on Boxing Day to manage the spread of Covid-19.

Another review of the measures will take place on March 18 2021.
