Scottish Government releases guidance on shop capacity - as lockdown set to be eased

The Scottish Government has released a new guidance on how to calculate the number of customers you're allowed inside your retail business.

The draft guidance explains how to work out the maximum number of people who can physically distance within a public setting including businesses, places of worship and public events.

It has been released ahead of non-essential retail businesses being allowed to reopen in Scotland on Monday, April 26.

Yesterday (Tuesday, April 20), First Minister Nicola Sturgeon confirmed Scotland would be taking the next step in easing lockdown restrictions from April 26.
