Stax win award for their charitable efforts
In what was a great night regardless, Stax narrowly missed out on being named ‘Britain’s Best Wholesaler’ at the Housewares Innovation Awards. However, although it wasn’t a win, Stax did come Highly Commended in what was a highly competitive category, as it always is.
The Stax team didn’t leave the night empty handed though. They were recognised for their charitable efforts in the industry with an award sponsored by Rainy Day Trust, the UK’s only home improvement and enhancement charity supporting its workforce and their families. The award was collected on the night by Joint Managing Director, David Hibbert on behalf of the whole Stax team.
David Hibbert commented: “This recognition came quite unexpectedly and was a genuine surprise on the night. It’s an important charity for our sector and plays a vital role in supporting hard working people during unforeseen times of need. We’re proud to be in a position to contribute and support the hard work done at Rainy Day Trust.”
The awards took place once again at Birmingham’s National Motorcycle Museum and were hosted by actor, presenter, writer and producer, Ryan Philpott.
