BT and Openreach are moving away from traditional analogue and digital phone lines, migrating to an internet-based system. By the end of 2025, Openreach will just supply broadband connections, so businesses will need a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) service to make and receive calls. Utility Options can help with migration or take over existing lines until you are ready.
Broadband
Utility Options provide a range of broadband products, from 900Mb ultrafast full-fibre to 4G mobile-based broadband and super-reliable leased lines. Broadband-only products are also now available, with no associated phone service.
Mobile Airtime & Data
Utility Options provide flexible, cost-effective airtime and data (including 4G broadband backup) using the Vodafone and O2 networks, on 30-day contracts.
Gas & Electricity
Current conditions in the energy market make fixed contract negotiations tricky for small businesses. Utility Options are independent brokers and are on hand to help, so for a quotation or advice with your business energy, please see the information below.
"I use Utility Options for both stores and they have certainly saved me money on my phone, broadband and electricity bills. But worth more than its weight in gold is that I get to speak to the lovely Chis and Jonathan. They deal directly with the Providers, so I never have to and to me that is the highlight of using Utility Options"

Get ready for the Great British Switch-Off
By the end of 2023 Openreach will stop supplying new analogue and digital phone lines. Existing phones lines will be switched off in 2025. After that, they'll only be supplying broadband and other data services.
By 2025, all businesses and consumers using phone lines will have to migrate to IP communications.
