What is the 1st Waste carbon offset scheme?

Carbon neutrality is becoming a growing trend in business, with more businesses looking to offset their carbon emissions. 1st Waste Management are proud to work with Carbonfootprint.com to measure and offset their customers’ C02 emissions from scheduled waste collections using a Verified Carbon Standard offset scheme.

How does the carbon offset project work?

They calculate your carbon output from the data they have on your scheduled lifts of general waste and recycling. They work in partnership with you to develop a suitable carbon off-set project, such as tree planting, wind turbines and reducing deforestation and supply you with a certificate to be proudly displayed in your premises.
