Bira is backing the national ShopKind campaign, which promotes kindness and respect towards shopworkers.
Launched with support from the Home Office, ShopKind brings together the retail sector to combat the rise in violence and abuse against retail staff.

Running throughout July 2025, the campaign encourages shoppers to be considerate, while recognising the essential work of those in stores.
ShopKind also raises awareness of the impact abusive behaviour has on shopworkers and calls for greater appreciation of their contribution to communities.
Retailers can access free downloadable assets to support the campaign and promote positive customer behaviour in their stores.
