A specialist hi-fi trade body has partnered with a leading independent retailers association to give independent electronics retailers access to a wider range of business support.
Bira and The Clarity Alliance have agreed a new partnership that will see Clarity's retail members receive complimentary Bira membership as part of their existing Clarity membership, beginning 1 July, at no extra cost.
The partnership means Clarity's specialist hi-fi and home cinema retailers will gain access to Bira's full range of member services, including legal and HR advice, business insurance, preferential card payment rates, and exclusive supplier discounts negotiated across Bira's wider membership base.
Elizabeth Gould, chairman of Clarity, said: "Our priority has always been to help our members build stronger, more successful businesses. Partnering with Bira allows us to add even greater value to Clarity membership by giving our members access to an outstanding range of additional business and financial benefits. We believe it will also prove an attractive proposition to hi-fi retailers who are not yet members of the hi-fi trade association."
Jeff Moody, Chief Commercial Officer at Bira, said: "Independent hi-fi and home cinema retailers face exactly the same pressures as the rest of our membership, from rising costs to increased competition from larger chains and online marketplaces. This partnership means Clarity's members now have the backing and business support to help them compete on a level footing, and we are pleased to welcome them into the Bira community."
Clarity retail members will automatically receive access to their complimentary Bira membership, with further information on activating the available benefits to follow directly.
