Businesses including hairdressers, beauticians and hospitality venues are being reminded that it is a legal requirement to display official NHS Track and Trace QR codes and log visitors.

The Government has warned that any venues not complying with the legislation could face fines of up to £4,000.

Other venues required to display QR codes include close contact services such as tailors and dress-fitters.

Under the legislation, hospitality venues including coffee shops and restaurants must also enforce the 'rule of six' - with penalties for those breaching the guidance.
