Take your business to the next level with a financial boost
Our Member Benefit Starling Bank is offering all Starling customers a chance to win a £5k grant. All you have to do is fill in a small form that gets shortlisted by the Starling team, and then gets judged by an expert panel, headed up by TV presenter Carol Vorderman, MBE, who will pick the ten winning businesses.
What's in the form?
There are three sections to the form that you'll have to fill in;
- General information: Business name, employee size, turnover, website
- Getting to know you: Your story, Finding your wings, Your elevator pitch
- Getting to know your business: What sets your business apart, How would the grant help your business to take flight, Your business' performance and growth potential
Eligibility
- Businesses must have fewer than 10 full-time and part-time employees
- Businesses must have an annual turnover of no more than £1,400,000. If the business is less than 12 months old, the projected turnover must be less than £1,400,000
- Businesses must have been an active Starling Business Current Account Customer for at least 3 months from the date of entering this competition with at least one customer-initiated transaction per calendar month
- Businesses must not already be receiving funds from a UK banking grant or similar competition
- Businesses must be incorporated and registered in the UK with Companies House (businesses registered in Northern Ireland are excluded from the Competition)
- Businesses must demonstrate that they will invest their grant directly into the business and what impact this will have
- The business confirms that they are not engaging in activities that are restricted under the Business Current Account Schedule
- The business confirms that the confirmation statements within the Current Account General Terms and Business Current Account
- The schedule is still applicable and their account is not currently in suspended status or under investigation
- Entrants are required to provide supporting documentation confirming compliance with the above upon request
