BAGMA Director, Keith Christian has welcomed the interview with the former Director General of BAGMA, Jonathan Swift.

Jonathan, who was also a former CEO of the BHF - now Bira - which previously owned BAGMA, chatted to Chris Biddle in a new episode of Inside Agri Turf.

Keith said: "I love the history of the industry and the huge amount of archive material BAGMA holds covering its history. To be able to listen to one of BAGMA’s influencers was a pleasure whatever their views are.

"I have had many comments from people from the industry who are now mostly retired now but were very influential in BAGMA’s and the industry’s past. Most are very positive and reflect on conversations and meetings in the past about a coming together of BAGMA and the AEA. All wish BAGMA well for the future.

"The industry is changing and there is a lot of consolidation going on. BAGMA needs to be a in a position to support its membership and the landbased engineering industry going into the future and the move to an industry based organisation will help BAGMA to provide this support."
