Bira is backing a new Visa-backed campaign to encourage people to spend an extra fiver at their favourite local independent shops.
Visa is partnering with Totally Locally, for its Fiver Fest, a celebration of Britain’s fantastic small businesses - and calling on consumers to spend £5 extra a week where they can to support the small retailers in their communities.
From this Saturday (June 12) until June 26, towns across the county will be coming together to host £5 special offers showcasing the range of products their small businesses sell, and to thank the communities that support their local high streets.
Visa and Totally Locally want all small businesses to sign up to Fiver Fest, for free.
Totally Locally is a grassroots initiative that helps small business owners to collaborate with their peers and local communities to protect the future of independent high streets. The organisations offers free Town Kits to independent retailers that include templates for a range of collateral including posters, newspapers, invites.
