The Government's Job Retention Bonus Scheme has been withdrawn after other support measures were announced.
The Job Retention Bonus was a £1,000 one-off taxable payment to the employer, for each eligible employee that was furloughed and kept continuously employed until January 31, 2021.
However, the scheme was withdrawn after the enhanced furlough package was announced by Chancellor Rishi Sunak on November 5.
The new furlough scheme which will pay 80% of furloughed staff salaries until March 2021 is set to be reviewed in January. The Self-Employed Income Support Grant offering has also been enhanced and extended.
