Attendees of the Bira Direct Conference at The Mount on 9 October have praised the event as a "welcoming and engaging experience," "insightful and useful conference," and a "brilliant day."
The Conference included speaker presentations on numerous topics including visual merchandising, social media and a popular session on AI from Avalon Insights.
A 2-minute highlight film has been released, which gives viewers a flavour of the day, while informative speaker presentation slides are also available for Bira members to view online.
Bira Direct are set to share a follow-up survey soon to gather more detailed feedback and shape what the team do next.
The Bira Direct team has also stated that it will be expanding on the training themes - visual merchandising, AI and social media - over the coming months.
Lissy McTaggart, Ultimate Products, said: “A brilliant day… You created a really welcoming and engaging experience, and we’d love to be involved in any future events like this.”
Tom & Al, Potters Cookshop, commented: “We had a really great time and the conference was very informative for us both and we have taken loads away from it. You make a fantastic team.”
Chris Greenfield, Simple Human, said: “An insightful and useful conference… it was really good to be able to connect with retailers and suppliers alike.”
John Jones, Philip Morris & Son, added: “I really enjoyed the day and it really felt like it was time well spent from both a member and supplier perspective. I thought the format worked really well, and it is rare that all speakers at a conference strike the right note, but I really felt that all 3 of the outside speakers did a great job."
