The platform focuses on helping new business owners understand basic tax principles, make tax a priority from the outset, and build good habits early so they can start off on the right foot.
The content is clear, practical and easy to follow, making it a strong starting point for those unfamiliar with the tax system.
While much of the material is aimed at new businesses, established businesses may also find it a useful refresher resource, particularly for revisiting key areas or filling any gaps in knowledge.
At present, industry‑specific guidance is limited. HMRC plans to continue developing Tax Confident over time, including expanding content for different sectors as the site grows’.
