As part of the Daily Mirror’s Shop for Britain campaign, it is urging people to shop locally and, whenever possible, buy British, to help businesses start to bounce back.

Bira Supports the Shop For Britain Campaign which was launched this week to appeal for people to back shops in their area, because vibrant high streets make for vibrant communities.

It has already had cross-party support, including from Chancellor Rishi Sunak.

To coincide with non-essential shops in England being allowed to reopen from Monday (hopefully followed soon after by the other home nations) they are publishing an open letter from retailers to the public.

The Daily Mirror will publish the names of all the retailers who sign the letter, so this should also bring the added benefit of free publicity for your business.

To sign up to the letter, please email Graham Hiscott, the Mirror’s Business Editor, via graham.hiscott@mirror.co.uk or call 07887 674 809.

And remember, you’ve only got until Sunday, June, 14, to add your name.

Click here  to view the letter which will be published alongside the retailers who have signed it on Monday, June 15.
