The Association of Commercial Banknote Issuers (ACBI) has transitioned its responsibilities to UK Finance, including educational materials and information for independent retail businesses.
Previously, ACBI provided information on Scottish and Northern Ireland banknotes through its website (www.acbi.org.uk) including resources to help retailers verify the security features of banknotes issued by authorised banks in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
From January 2024, retailers can access these resources via the UK Finance website at the link below.
