Doff was founded in Nottingham in 1946, with humble beginnings. The name Doff came from a family business in which salesmen were encouraged to doff their caps as they sold door-to-door around the post-war villages of the Duchy of Portland. This gesture symbolised their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, values we continue to deliver today. 

Now operating out of a state-of-the-art 50,000sq ft purpose-built manufacturing facility, based in Hucknall, Nottingham. We are proud to be the only UK manufacturer of slug control pellets, utilising a bespoke pellet mill, high-speed packing, and formulation facilities to service the home and garden market in the UK and Ireland. 

Doff manufactures a range of garden care products for your garden to flourish. Our range of products includes weed control, lawn care, plant protection, plant feeds, growing media, and pest control to provide gardeners and homeowners with everything they need to grow and protect their home and garden. 

In 2024, Doff became a part of the Pelsis Group, bringing together Doff and Pest-Stop. 

Pest-Stop is the UK’s leading manufacturer of high-quality pest control products for the retail market.The Pest-Stop brand offers a comprehensive range of market-leading products, from the Little Nipper mouse traps (founded in 1897), one of the longest-standing pest control brand names, to contemporary products designed with the domestic user in mind.
