Since our foundation in 1923 our company has grown out of all recognition from its early beginnings over 90 years ago in London. We have continually expanded our range of Chain, Rope and associated products to meet the needs of our extensive, worldwide customer base and for many years have been leading Chain Suppliers to many markets – from the domestic hardware, DIY, lighting, plumbing and construction industries to government departments, public authorities, general engineering, materials handling, marine and security applications to name a few.   

A major expansion took place when our Godalming warehouse opened in 1988 and also on the purchase of machinery and equipment from the administrators of both Lemet Hartland & Eastwood in 2004 as well as G & J Swingler Limited in 2008.

The expansion continued in 2019, when we moved from our 9,000 sq./ft warehouse in Godalming to a 20,000 sq./ft purpose-built warehouse and distribution centre in Petersfield.

As Chain Manufacturers of millions of Assemblies per year, designing and manufacturing the most cost-effective Assemblies for our customers is an important part of our service. Our product range, experience and capacity enable us to produce small prototype batches as well as millions for scheduled call-off orders.

Carriage Paid Orders

Carriage is free on orders over £250 for delivery in the UK on a standard delivery.

Payment

For non-credit account customers we accept payment by most credit and debit cards, BACS as well as by cheque. Orders are despatched as soon as possible after receipt of payment.

Delivery

We use a variety of national carriers every day and aim to despatch ex-stock orders to addresses in the UK within 24 hours of receipt of order on a next working day delivery service or a standard 3 day service for palletised goods, with the exception of the Scottish Highlands & Islands and Northern Ireland.

Faster, Saturday and timed deliveries are readily available if required.

Orders for our overseas customers are despatched by land, sea or air according to their needs.

Collections

If you wish to use your own carrier or transport just tell us and we will prepare your order ready for collection accordingly.
