We are a fair trade social enterprise focused on preserving earth-friendly handicrafts on the verge of extinction through sustainable livelihoods for our artisans in the majority of the world.
We work directly with artisans - both independent and in co-ops across India and elsewhere - to source our unique range of handmade products that you cannot find on the high street.
Ethiqana's mission for creating positive impact does not end there. We have partnered with Mail Out for our warehousing and fulfillment needs. This helps create employment opportunities for adults with learning disabilities in the UK.
We are members of BAFTS Fair Trade Network UK and have been awarded the People & Planet First certificate by the Social Enterprise World Forum. Our founder, Arshad, was also featured in the Social Entrepreneur Index 2022.
Products
We pride ourselves in being curated, unique and totally handmade.
Our star product lines are our plastic and chemical free wooden toys coloured with natural dyes. This makes them 100% safe for the kids and the environment. They are also the only toys with a natural glow.
Our range also includes handmade personal and pet accessories, home decor and furnishings and Christmas ornaments.
