Corefix
The Corefix range covers all wall materials from plasterboard to masonry, hollow block and dot & dab. All packs are conveniently colour coded and come with clear instructions as well as QR codes for installation videos. Watch how to install them here!
Corefix Connect, our trusted patented ‘dot & dab’ fixing, is designed for fixing heavy items to dot & dab walls (plasterboard over blockwork with a gap between them). It is also suitable for masonry and blockwork.
Fixing things into dot & dab is often tricky as the plasterboard can crush into the void behind when a fixing is tightened. Corefix Connect’s unique steel core transfers the load into the blockwork behind, stops the board being damaged and relies on the block rather than the board to support the weight. Tested to over 250kg (without failure) with a safe working load of 55kg per fixing (safety factor 2) and with most modern houses having dot & dab walls, Corefix Connect is essential for DIYers and tradespeople.
Corefix Spike is a new self-drilling heavy duty plasterboard fixing ideal for both home DIYers and professionals. Requiring no pre-drilling, it’s extra fast and easy to install with a power drill driver but can also be installed with only a manual screwdriver – ideal for novice DIYers! Corefix Spike’s unique drilling wings pierce the plasterboard and open to grip behind it securely with a safe working load of 50kg per fixing.
Corefix Strap is a universal toggle fixing designed for any hollow wall material. From insulated plasterboard to hollow blocks, it’s particularly useful for thick hollow wall materials up to 55mm. Easy to install in any hollow wall by drilling a 13mm hole, this heavy duty toggle fixing will hold a safe working load of 30kg in plasterboard and 60kg in hollow block.
Corefix One is a universal wall plug for medium duty loads in all wall materials. The anti-rotation plug knots in plasterboard and expands in masonry with a safe working load of 10kg in plasterboard and up to 100kg in masonry – available in 6mm and 8mm sizes.
Corefix Twist is an easy medium duty self-drilling plasterboard fixing which requires no drill to install and holds a safe working load of 16kg.
The Corefix range also includes a variety of hooks for light to heavy duty applications. Corefix Barb is a neat hammer-in picture hook with minimal damage to the wall, while the Corefix Spike heavy duty hook is ideal for large frames and heavy mirrors.

- Trade/Electrical kit with 16 SKUs (60 packs in total) geared towards professional trade customers
- DIY kit with 23 SKUs (72 packs) ideal for home DIY customers
Both FSDUs are supplied with marker stickers and a laminated merchandising layout for easy setup in store. All packs are conveniently colour coded for the customer and include clear installation instructions as well as QR codes to installation videos.
