Due to the unprecedented and continual challenges in the global supply chain, Bira Direct supplier Creative Party has announced an unavoidable price change on some of their products from 16th January 2023.

Creative Party is one of the UK’s leading designers, manufacturers and distributers of party supplies and foil balloons. They offer an array of products such as tableware, balloons, streamers, centrepieces, banners, confetti, cello bags, candles and much more.

In a letter to their customers and business partners, they have said:

Dear Customer,

It has been a difficult few years for us all and prior to the last few months it has been very challenging to provide you with positive news about pricing and service levels, due to the global issues affecting us all.  As I am sure you are aware we removed our 7.5% logistics surcharge in the latter part of this year and have greatly improved our in-stock availability and delivery service and we do hope to continually improve the service we provide in 2023, getting us back to our pre-covid glory of best-in-class customer service!

No matter what successes we have, our aspirations to improve are enduring and we have been working tirelessly this year with our factories to keep costs stable.  I am pleased to tell you our efforts have been successful and not only have we managed to avoid price rises for some top-selling categories but we have also limited our price increases for the new year to an average of 2.5% which is far lower than both inflation and raw material cost increases.  A small increase on some categories was unavoidable but we believe we have achieved the best result possible for you, our customer.

Attached is our pricelist for 2023.  Please take this email as one month’s notice for price changes. The prices will increase for all orders received from Monday 16th January 2023.
