The winners of the Excellence in Housewares Awards 2022 will be revealed at a lavish event on the evening of Wednesday 5 October 2022 at the Royal Lancaster London, fully supported by trade associations Bheta and Bira, plus by trade shows including Ambiente, Exclusively and The Inspired Home Show in Chicago, and backed by leading suppliers across the housewares sector.
Widely regarded and recognised as the ‘Oscars’ for the housewares sector, the awards shine the spotlight on both retailers for their retailing excellence as well as suppliers for their product innovation and service acumen. These include: Retailer Awards for retailers of housewares products, Product Awards for new ranges or new individual products, and Supplier Awards for service, marketing, innovation, iconic products and honorary achievement.
The Excellence in Housewares Awards are produced for the industry, with the collective support of the industry and in association with Bira. This year, Bira Direct are sponsoring the Best Independent Department Store awards.
The finalists who go from indies to multiples, online stores to department stores, garden centres to supermarkets, were arrived at following extensive polling across the sector, which saw both a volume of nominations from suppliers, reps and agents as well as self-nominations and submissions from retailers themselves. They have been celebrating their place on the list, with everyone excited to hear who will be the winners on the night!
