Following the success of their existing collections, Dexam have launched two new ranges in partnership with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS). The Birds and Gertrude Jekyll textile ranges are now in stock and are made from organic cotton.
Organically grown cotton yarn is kinder to the environment as it uses less water, reduces soil erosion and does not use hazardous manmade pesticides. Organic cotton farming helps lock CO2 into the soil, helping mitigate climate change. It also benefits the farmers who can grow additional crops alongside the cotton and maintains the biodiversity of the soil.
Both prints were sourced directly from The Royal Horticultural Society Lindley Collections which houses the world’s finest collection of books and printed materials on gardening and outstanding collections of archives, photography and botanical art.
The Birds range has been inspired by the true beauty of nature. The design has a stone background, with a heritage-inspired pattern featuring foliage and birds in teal, pink and yellow. The modern colours will brighten up any kitchen and is available in an adult apron, set of 2 tea towels, double oven gloves and peg bag.
