Due to ongoing cost pressures, Bira Direct supplier Everbuild Building Products has announced an unavoidable price change on some of their products from 1st January 2022. 

Everbuild – A Sika company owned by Sika AG, are UK’s leading sealant, adhesive and building chemical brand.

In a letter to their business partners and customers, they have said:

Following on from recent communications, the construction industry is still facing raw materials shortages and therefore increased pressure on the supply chain. As a result of this continued issue as well as increasing energy and transport costs, we will be implementing a further price increase from 1st January 2022. 

From 1st January, the increase will be as per the attached technology list (page 2). 
Also due to the continued volatility within our supply chain, we expect costs to continue to rise into 2022, subsequently, we expect to require a further price increase from 1st April 2022, and therefore are now issuing an extended notice of this expected increase with the affected technologies & SKU lists to be confirmed by 1 March 2022. 
In addition, there will also be updated freight charges from 1st January 2022. Please see the information on the changes below:
