UK governments are legally committed and are working towards reducing carbon emissions to ‘net zero’ – by 2045 in Scotland and by 2050 in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

This means all businesses need to work out a net-zero plan and reduce emissions as soon as possible.

Bira has committed to reducing its own carbon footprint by 50% by 2030, in line with government targets. It's important for us as an association to set the right example for our members and help them along the way.
