Way to Work has been created by the UK Government to help employers fill vacancies
Are you currently employing staff for your independent retail shop, or planning to soon? This new campaign will give you all the support and guidance you need to fill your vacancies, from meeting candidates, running work trials to employing someone with a disability.
How Way to Work can benefit you
- You will be offered a named employer adviser in your local Jobcentre who will act as your Account Manager
- Introduced to candidates looking for work through recruitment days and other events
- Simplifying and shortening the recruitment process, to match with better candidates
- Assisting with work trials to see what potential recruits have to offer
- Information on offering work experience and apprenticeships
- Support if employing someone through Access to Work
- Support if employing someone with a disability or health condition
How to start using Way to Work
- Call the Employer Services Line on 0800 169 0178
- Email employer.services@dwp.gov.uk
If contacting by email, please include:
- business name
- your contact details
- the town(s) your business is based in/is recruiting in including full postcodes
- brief description of your recruitment query - Send a direct message via your Jobcentre Plus local Twitter account
