With May 21st quickly approaching, the 10p charge for single-use plastic bags will be implemented across England. We understand the change may cause some difficulties with customers, and it’s important now more than ever that you are communicating effectively with customers, to minimise any repercussions along the way.

To ensure all customers are aware of this change, we’ve created two posters to help you engage with and educate your customers to make this transition as smooth as possible. We have created two A3 posters that is best displayed somewhere visible to all customers such as on a window or entrance door. Click the images below to download.

A3 Poster One
This poster is to educate your customers that the charge is coming into place, and letting them know you want their opinion on which  charity to donate the proceeds to. Engaging with your customers is crucial in showing them you’re all on the same team.

A3 Poster Two
This poster is to showcase in your retail store, which shows your customers how much you’ve donated from the plastic bag charge, and to which charity. This will really get customers interested and could even be the reason they tell they’re friends/family about your product/services.

Tip – if you have an engaged audience/community on your social channels, you can ask your customers for suggestions or upload a poll for them to vote on. Alternatively, you can create a Google Form which you can send to a list of your subscribers every month asking for their suggestions.
