The Cookware Company, the official distributor of Bira Direct supplier GreenPan in the UK, was launched in the UK in 2007 (initially as Anotech), quickly becoming one of the success stories within the UK and global cookware industry. The vision of joint founders and current CEO’s Wim de Veirman and Jan Helskens was simple, to develop innovation for cooks all over the world with the re-assurance of a healthy, non-stick ceramic cookware coating (Thermolon). Today, we continue to lead the category with the original and best-performing ceramic coating in many markets around the world. Our unique ceramic non-stick coating has undergone continuous improvement to ensure we offer healthy, safe, and contemporary designed cookware, for consumers to create delicious food results.
We are heavily committed to invest and develop The Cookware Company in the UK based on our flagship brand GreenPan, our exciting, contemporary Kitchen Aid cookware category and to further introduce breakthrough innovation and new product categories to benefit UK cookware consumers and our trade partners.
As a result, and to deliver the ambitious growth plan for the UK, The Cookware Company is pleased to announce a new team leadership structure with immediate effect.
Neil McIntosh joined the business in August as Country Manager UK & Ireland. Neil previously worked for Cadbury, Ferrero and Twinings, before spending 10 years at Le Creuset in senior marketing and eCommerce roles including UK & EMEA Marketing Director.
Joining at the same time in the business, Jason Kirk will become the new Head of Sales for UK & Ireland. Having previously worked for McCain Foods and Dairy Crest, Jason has 17 years’ extensive experience within Le Creuset from senior UK sales management roles to heading up the International New Markets business for the Le Creuset Group.
