Global Payments, providers of the card processing service for Bira members, have shown support for Bira members over the last few months. The support has included the suspension of the minimum monthly activity fee, a charge all card providers will implement when minimum spends are not met.

Suspension of Monthly Minimum Activity Fee
Whilst many members had to close their stores, if they contacted Global Payments to let them know, they suspended their monthly minimum activity fee*.
Reduced headline rates for credit cards
Global Payments reduced members credit card headline rate by an average of 6% for all Bira members using the service. This was a permenant change so members will continue to benefit from further reduced rates.

Removal of the PCI service fee
They removed the fee for using the Global Fortress PCI service, saving a minimum of £3.50 every month. This was also a permeant change so members will continue to benefit from no PCI compliance charge.
If you’re using the Global Payments service though Bira membership, and have a PCI non-compliance fee listed on your statement, it means that you’re not PCI compliant, which is a risk to your business. No subscription fees with Paylink Mobile
With Paylink Mobile, you can offer your customers click & collect or home delivery by sharing secure payment links through messaging apps, emails or social media. Plus, you’ll only pay for the transactions you process until 1st March 2021^.
